The City of Duenweg has a long and varied history, starting out as a lead
and zinc mining community. The town’s history reaches all the way
back to the Osage Indians who were tall and not inclined to
hostility. The principles of the people in the community are
built on strong morals and an adamant emphasis on the need for a
strong education for the children of the community.
A portion of the proceeds from this site benefit the Duenweg Parks and
Recreation Department.
