Mayor Russell Olds

Mayor Russell was born in Joplin, MO and graduated form Parkwood Hgh School (now Joplin High). He has lived in Duenweg for 34 years and is married with three daughters. He became an Alderman in 1996 and has served Duenweg as Mayor since he was first elected in 1998.

Mayor Pro-Tem Joe Garcia

Joe has lived in Duenweg for 14 years. He is married with 4 children and has served as an Alderman for 6 years.

Alderman Ron Klein (Ward 1)

Ron moved to Duenweg when he was 11 years old. He went to Duenweg Elementary and played baseball here. Ron graduated from Joplin High School and Franklin Technology, where he studied drafting, in 1993. He has worked for the Duenweg Fire Department since 2004. Ron is married with 4 children.

Alderman Steve Byrd (Ward 2)

Steve was born in Joplin, MO and graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. After 4 years in the U.S. Navy, Steve moved to Duenweg in 1983. He has worked for Freeman Health System in Accounting since 1988. He lives in Duenweg with his wife and 2 kids, where he has served as an Alderman since 1997.

Alderman Scott Haar (Ward 2)

Scott has lived in the Joplin, MO area all his life. He graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies. He moved to Duenweg in 2002 after getting married. He works as Campus Co-Director for Vatterott and enjoys serving the city of Duenweg as Alderman.
